In this game, you play the role of a sporting director of a football club. You will help your club progress by being smart on the transfer market, negociate, sign good contracts and find future stars. However, you do not have control over the matches, which you will watch from the stands, likely stressed and tense.

Here's a few things to help understanding the game :

Season unfolding

Season is simulated half a week by half a week, for 52 weeks in a year so 104 half weeks by season.

The "Schedule" tab allows you to see the season unfolding, identify transfer windows and checked incoming games.

The upper button "Advance" allows to progress through time.

On "Dashboard", you can simulate multiple weeks at a time. In this case, your strategy will turn automatically in auto-mode.

Strategy

You can manually drag players in your composition. A player on a wrong position will be less effective.

You can switch to auto-mode by ticking "Auto-Mode". Strategy and players will be chosen automatically.

Auto-mode switches off if you move a player or change strategy.

You're second goalkeeper must be the first on the bench.

Finances

You can check your current payroll (monthly & annually) and the maximum payroll authorized by the club (it might increase with good results)

The transfer budget is the amount available to buy players.

Rewards regarding your championship position or victory in Cups are given at the end of the season.

Champions League : no knockout phase.

Europa League : between teams that finished 2nd in group stage and teams that finished 3rd in Champions League group stage.

Europa Conference League : between teams that finished 2nd in group stage and teams that finished 3rd in Europa League group stage.

Teams of the same country can't play each other.

Suspensions

A direct red card results in a two-match suspension.

Two yellow cards in the same game results in a one-match suspension.

Accumulation of 3 yellow cards in different games results in a one-match suspension.

Yellow cards, red cards and suspensions in Championship also count for National Cup, and the other way round (if a player receive a red card in Championship OR Cup, he is suspended for 2 games for Championship AND Cup).

Yellow cards, red cards and suspensions in European Cups only apply to European Cups (if a player receive a red card in Champions League, he is suspended for 2 games in European Competitions but he can play in Championship and National Cup).

Players & transfers

Your players :

You can check your players list in "Squads".

Other clubs sometimes make offers for your players. This offer is limited in time, you can accept it, refuse it or just let it expire.

You can propose your player to other clubs. Some might be interested but the offers will probably be underpriced.

When one of your player's contract expires, unless he decides to retire, you can offer him a new contract at the start of the new season. If you decline, he will join free players and will be able to sign anywhere else.

Your squad must have at least 22 players and 30 maximum.

Other players :

You can make an offer for players of other teams, that can be rejected if too low.

During window transfer, you can sign free players. You don't have to pay any transfer fee but they will ask for a bigger salary.

Players recently transferred can't change club again instantly. They must complete at least 6 months in their news club.

Evolution :

Each year, at the end of July, players stats are updated.
